Britain is looking forward to establish the strong bond with India. Recently the British Deputy High Commissioner, David Lelliott met the Punjab Governor Shivraj Patil and express his thoughts of opening the gates for the people of
both sides to grow more, which will help both the economies, as well. In the meeting, the discussion began from the perspective of presenting the students more opportunities to study abroad and developing student exchange programs
between the Universities of both countries, which will help students of both nations.
Well, the view of the Lelliott was not limited to the education only, as he suggested about building the business bonds, as well to help the growth of the economies. He demanded for the bilateral co-operation in the major field like
IT, energy resources, and educational tools. Impressed with the Punjabi culture, British Commissioner also laid emphasis on several programs, as well, which will lead to cultural exchange events.
Shivraj Patil also followed his lead and gave thumbs up to the views of the Lelliot, which he is looking forward to transform into reality. This will surely be great opportunities for people of Punjab to explore more and to make a significant impression globally.
